Hayfield Camping and Caravanning review are based on a recent stay I had there. the limitation of my review is I was only there for one night. The experience started with a phone call to the site where I was stated that I would arrive reasonably late. This was not acceptable I was told I couldn't get on the site and that it was better to turn up the next day. No booking was offered for the next day. When I turned up they didn't want to let me on to the site as I didn't have a booking. I guess I was lucky they had some spare space but the site didn't look full especially as my tent was about two meters squared. I won't go into details about the price but as a non-member, the pitch was about £16 which seemed quite expensive. I went to purchase a chocolate bar and wasn't allowed to pay for the both with my card, something about two different businesses. it wasn't really customer friendly.
